Pershing Rifles Cadet Pvt. Caleb McQuarrie, Northern Arizona University (Flagstaff), competes in an individual exhibit drill category during the 2015 John J. Pershing Memorial Drill Competition on March 14 at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. McQuarrie has been competing in weapon exhibit drill competitions since high school. "It's the result of a lot of practice – sometime three hours a day, six days a week – for the past four years," he said. "I also watch what other competitors do on YouTube. It’s a great resource that gives me more tools for my competitive toolbox."
