    113th Mobile Public Affairs Detachment

    Members from the Washington National Guard unload their equipment after arriving in a C-17 Globemaster III aircraft at Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport prior to their preparation for Operation Borinqueneer Response from March 16-20 at various locations throughout Puerto Rico. This U.S. Northern Command and National Guard Bureau sponsored training is a special focus event for the Puerto Rico National Guard. It will consist of a series of training exercises designed to evaluate and enhance the readiness of the National Guard in performing state roles and responsibilities when working with other Guards, local and state civilian and military emergency response agencies.
