Cpl. Christopher J. Benavidez (Left) and Col. David L. The long distance, aerial assault is designed to showcase and fine-tune integration between infantry units and air elements. Benavidez is a radio operator with 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force, and a Livermore, California, native, Benavidez provided the commanding officer for Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Four with radio communication between the combat operation center at Marine Air Ground Combat Center and the ground units involved in the assault. ITX 2-15 is designed to integrate combined arms and improve war fighting capabilities. Odom, a Hartsville, South Carolina native, is the commanding officer for Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force Four and 4th Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
