Matthew Flemming, mission commander of Africa Partnership Station, embarked aboard the Military Sealift Command joint high-speed vessel USNS Spearhead (JHSV 1), is presented a gift from Angolan navy Vice Adm. Jorge Da Silva, commander Operational Squadron, during a reception hosted by the Angolan military. Spearhead is on a scheduled deployment to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility to support the international collaborative capacity-building program Africa Partnership Station.
