Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 6, 2nd Marine Logistics Group, attach chains to an 8,500 pound metal beam before a CH-53 Super Stallion helicopter uses either single or dual point hooks to lift the load off the ground aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, N.C., March 4, 2015. Marine Heavy Helicopter Training Squadron 302, Marine Aircraft Group 29, 2nd Marine Air Wing teamed up with CLB-6 to conduct external-lift exercises. The training allowed the pilots to work hand-in-hand with groundside Marines in an effort to support II Marine Expeditionary Force’s readiness.
