1st Lt. Eric Donahue (right), of Fayetteville, N.C., with the use of an interpreter, tells a national police officer assigned to the 8th NP Brigade, 2nd NP Division where his men need to be positioned during a time sensitive target training mission, June 10, in the Beladiyat neighborhood, located in the 9 Nissan District of eastern Baghdad. The training event was the first time the combined forces have trained in the region where they operate on a daily basis. Donahue serves as a platoon leader for the scout platoon, 2nd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Multi-National Division—Baghdad.
