An explosive ordnance disposal technician helps Midshipman Bradford Barrett into a bomb suit during an EOD demonstration in the hangar bay of the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan. EOD Technicians can handle chemical, biological, and radiological threats and are one of the few military force that can both parachute from the air to reach distant targets or dive under the sea to disarm weapons. Ronald Reagan is on a routine deployment to the Western Pacific.
