Lt. Col. Scott McKean, commander of the 1st Battalion, 66th Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division, places a Bronze Star Medal with Valor Device on Sgt. Christopher Denham, an armor crewmember assigned to Company C, 1st Bn., 66th Armor Regt., during a ceremony, June 3, on Fort Hood. McKean and Command Sgt. Maj. Edward Mitchell, the "Iron Knights" top enlisted leader, congratulated Denham for his award and actions after being struck by a roadside bomb in Iraq. Denham hails from Stevinson, Calif.
