    U.S. Marine Capt. Jengis Gonzalez, a civil affairs officer with 3rd Civil Affairs Group, places incense on the statue of Buddha as a symbol of spiritualism and good luck, in Lop Buri province, Kingdom of Thailand, Feb. 2, 2015. Gonzalez was born in Thailand to an American father and a Thai mother. He speaks Thai fluently and has served in three iterations on Exercise Cobra Gold as part of the Civil Affairs Group.
