Lindsey, both landing support specialists with Combat Logistics Battalion 24, 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, sit atop a packaged 8,400 pound rotor head in preparation for helicopter support team operations at Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Feb. 13, 2015. The rotor head, a high-priority part, was carried from Djibouti to the amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) using a CH-53E Super Stallion from Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 365 (Reinforced), 24th MEU. The 24th MEU is embarked on the ships of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group and deployed to maintain regional security in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
