The Maryland Army National Guard’s C Company, 1st Battalion, 169th Aviation Regiment collaborated with active duty combat medic instructors from Walter Reed National Military Medical Center during medic sustainment training held at Weide Army Airfield in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Md., and other locations in the Edgewood area on Feb. 6, 2015. As part of a monthly partnership, the pilots and flight crew in C Co. 1-169th facilitate Walter Reed military personnel by providing suitable locations, 9-line medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) support and both familiarization and accessibility to aircraft.
