William Freeman, and outgoing Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center Instillation commander Col. Earnie Shows share a laugh together before the Change of Command Ceremony. The Change of Command ceremony is a time-honored tradition which formally symbolizes the continuity of authority as the command is passed from one individual to another. Shows, after four years in command of Camp Shelby, is set to hand over the GSA key and Blackberry to incoming commander, Col. Steve Parham. Bednarek presented Shows with a plaque for his outstanding service and partnership with the First Army East and 177th Armored Brigade Training Team.
