U.S. Navy Fire Controlman 3rd Class Adam Brown, assigned to the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Halsey, reunites with his wife, Alyssa Brown, after returning home from a seven-month deployment to the Western Pacific Jan. 5, 2015, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii. The nearly 280 Sailors assigned to the USS Halsey conducted various theater security operations, readiness training, community relations projects, escort support and good will activities with partner nations during their deployment to the Western Pacific.
