                            Marines assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 3's Motor Transportation Company, conduct a test run through the newly developing Combat Vehicle Operators Training - Afghan Course, using a Mine Resistant Ambush Protected vehicle with a mine roller attached to the front at Camp Bastion, Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, March 10. The CVOT-A course is the first course built in Afghanistan and is designed to provide drivers with a better understanding of vehicle capabilities, safety and the terrain they will be driving on while in Afghanistan. CLB-3 is the logistics combat element of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force - Afghanistan, whose mission is to conduct counterinsurgency operations and train and mentor the Afghan national police in order to provide the government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan with a professional police force able to provide security for its people.
