Lt. Gen. Darryl Roberson, 3rd Air Force and 17th Expeditionary Air Force commander, receives a briefing from Airmen during exercise Juniper Thunder Jan. 30, 2015, on Ramstein Air Base, Germany. Juniper Thunder presented realistic scenarios to help identify complications within the networks used between the Air Force and Army. Any issues were then brought up during Roberson’s visit to strengthen the interoperability between the two branches.
