Gen. Dennis L. Via, commander of United States Army Material Command, arrived at the 19th Expeditionary Sustainment Command headquarters Feb. 4 to receive an operational brief presented by the 19th ESC staff and strategic partners. Via, the first 4-star signal officer and the 18th commanding general of AMC, made his first visit to Area-IV during his six-day visit to the Korean Peninsula. His mission in Korea consists of receiving operational updates from both United States Forces Korea and Republic of Korea Army, as he made stops for conferences and meetings in Yongsan Garrison and ROK Army Logistics Command on his way to Daegu.
