Marines carry two mock casualties to a CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter Jan.19 during Lava Viper 15.1-2 at Pohakuloa Training Area, Hawaii, Hawaii. Nearly 30 Marines participated in the mass casualty drill, where certain types of injuries were simulated to help corpsmen with triage techniques. The Marines are from Marine Aircraft Group 24, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force. The helicopters are with Heavy Marine Helicopter Squadron 463, MAG-24.
