Staff Sgt. Andrew Cunningham, an engineer platoon sergeant with B Company, 6th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 4th Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 25th Infantry Division based out of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, and originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, and Pfc. Michael Long, normally an arm operator for the Buffalo mine-protected clearance vehicle (MPCV) with B Company, 6th BEB, 4th BCT (ABN), 25th ID from JBER and originally from Santa Cruz, Calif., conduct dismounted improvised explosive device route clearance operations on Jan. 31, 2015.
