Sailors aboard the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71) participate in a burial at sea ceremony for retired Master Chief Aircraft Maintenanceman John L. Clark. Burial at sea ceremonies are a time honored tradition to show respect for fallen service members. Theodore Roosevelt is underway participating in composite training unit exercise (COMPTUEX), which tests the Theodore Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group's ability to effectively react to real-world scenarios and perform as an integrated unit.
