Nugent, the commanding officer of Headquarters Battalion, 1st Marine Division, accepts a $2,000 check from Marine Corps Community Services for winning the Commanding General’s Cup aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Jan. 30, 2015. The Commanding General’s Cup is a series of athletic events hosted by the base in order to build competitive spirit and camaraderie between units and commands.
