Petty Officer 3rd Class Michael Bronowich of Navy's Fleet Survey Team attaches a stabilizing fin to a side-scan SONAR during a coastline survey in the Gulf of Aden. The side-scan SONAR is used to take acoustic video of the ocean floor to search for obstructions and hazards in preparation of a beach assault exercise by a Marine Expeditionary Unit.
