Sgt. Bryan Patenge, of Phoenix, Ariz., assigned to 401st Civil Affairs Battalion, hands out candy to children during a humanitarian mission, May 19, in the city of Idrissi, located in the Rusafa District of eastern Baghdad. Civil Affairs Soldiers and Paratroopers assigned to the Headquarters and Headquarters Troop, 5th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Multi-National Division-Baghdad, handed out soccer equipment and other goods in order to enhance the quality of life for citizens in the city.
