During a training exercise Jan. 14 at the Grafenwoehr Training Area, Pfc. Hamed Kalilou of Headquarters, 30th Medical Brigade, is securely strapped to a Sked litter by Expert Field Medic Badge candidates in preparation to transport him as a casualty to an evacuation vehicle. Kalilou is simulating a Soldier with a spinal injury. In this scenario, he was the driver of a M998 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle who wrecked into a tree, which caused his injury.
