Sotherland, commodore of the Bataan Expeditionary Strike Group and commander of Amphibious speaks with local media as the Bataan Ready Group and the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit prepares to deploy as part of a regularly scheduled deployment. The Bataan Amphibious Ready Group is comprised of the multi-purpose amphibious assault ship USS Bataan, amphibious transport dock USS Ponce and the amphibious dock landing ship USS Fort McHenry.
