Sgt. Jacob J. Baumann receives the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal Jan. 14 for potentially saving the life of a local Japanese gentlemen. “I saw an older gentleman that fell off his bicycle and noticed people were driving around him without helping him, so I did what everybody should do and helped him,” said Baumann, from Junction City, Kansas.
