Cpl. Thomas Messick, an AN/TRC-170 tropospheric scatter radio multi-channel equipment operator with Marine Wing Communications Squadron (MWCS) 38, fills a magazine before a course of fire on Range 109 during Back in the Saddle training aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Jan. 7. Marines with the squadron also shot M4 tactical shotgun.
