Jacob Gutierrez is the recipient of a four-year ROTC scholarship, worth $147,220, to St. Mary's University in San Antonio. The check was presented to Gutierrez by Maj. Gen. Peggy Combs, commanding general of the U.S. Army ROTC Cadet Command, at the Army All-American Bowl Combine Welcome Ceremony. Combs believes in the investment the Army makes and was happy to, "recognize the potential of an outstanding young man."
