    Staff Sgt. Kenneth D. Hacker, an instructor with the Staff Non-Commissioned Officer Academy and a high school student from Tōhoku, Japan place roses on the Honda’s 2015 Rose Parade float in Pasadena Calif., Dec. 31, 2014. Servicemembers who served in Operation Tomodachi are being honored during this year’s parade. Operation Tomodachi was a United States Armed Forces assistance operation to support Japan in disaster relief following the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami.
