Kyle Shurmur, a quarterback from La Salle High School in Philadelphia, arrives at player registration in Carson, Calif., on Dec. 30 for the Marine Corps’ Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl. Shurmur said he is excited to be able to compete against some of the best players in the nation. Selection for the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl is a badge of honor and gives the opportunity to reward commitment to academic excellence and community leadership. The bowl will be nationally televised live from The StubHub Center in Carson at 6 p.m. (PST) on January 4, 2015, on Fox Sports 1.
