Grant Newsome, an offensive tackle from Lawrenceville High School in Lawrenceville, N.J., arrives at player registration in Carson, Calif., on Dec. 30 for the Marine Corps’ Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl. “I think there is definitely a lot of good competition here but hopefully I can prove myself and prove I deserve to be here,” said Newsome. Selection for the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl is a badge of honor and gives the opportunity to reward commitment to academic excellence and community leadership. The bowl will be nationally televised live from The StubHub Center in Carson at 6 p.m. (PST) on January 4, 2015, on Fox Sports 1.
