The joint high-speed vessel USNS Spearhead (JHSV-1) departs Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek-Fort Story. Spearhead is deploying to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility to support maritime security efforts and to help build partnerships in the Gulf of New Guinea and off the coast of West Africa.
