John Kolar, a quarterback from Norman North High School in Norman, Okla., arrives at player check in Carson, Calif. on Dec. 30 for the Marine Corps’ Semper Fi All-American Bowl. “I hope to meet a lot of people and learn some life lessons while I am here,” said Kolar. Selection for the Semper Fidelis All-American Bowl is a badge of honor and gives the opportunity to reward commitment to academic excellence and community leadership. The bowl will be nationally televised live from The StubHub Center in Carson at 6 p.m (PST) on January 4, 2015, on Fox Sports 1.
