Japan Ground Self-Defense Force’s Special Weapons Protection Unit prepares and plans for the days exercise simulating a contaminated zone with casualties Dec. 1 at Camp Naha, Okinawa. The demonstration consisted of chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear defense specialist Marines and JGSDF personnel. The training increases ties between the JGSDF and Marines by building trust and confidence between the two nations. The JGSDF members are with the Nuclear Biological Chemical Unit, 15th Brigade.
