A flower lays in remembrance on a brick with the name of Sgt. Richard S. Nichols at the Gander Memorial on Fort Campbell, Ky., Dec. 12, 2014. The flower was placed shortly after the 29th Gander Memorial Ceremony. The Gander Memorial Ceremony is in remembrance of the 248 Soldiers who lost their lives in a plane crash in Gander, Newfoundland, Dec. 12, 1985, while returning home from a peacekeeping mission in Sinai, Egypt.
