Soldiers from 1st Battalion, 5th Infantry Regiment cross-country ski to their next event during Operation Bobcat ICE on Fort Wainwright, Dec. 5, 2014. Built to mimic the 2013 U.S. Army Alaska Winter Games, Soldiers from 1-5 IN had to snowshoe up Birch Hill Recreational Area while pulling an akhio sled, cross-country ski to a firing range and finally downhill ski to the finish line.
