Sgt. 1st Class Jessica Buck, senior paralegal of the Joint Forces Command - United Assistance Office of the Staff Judge Advocate, in Monrovia, Liberia, takes time out of her busy day, to share what she’s most thankful for Nov. 25, 2014. “I’m thankful for my family and friends back home,” said the Maynard, Mass. native. “My husband is at home taking care of our two children during this holiday, so I can be here on this mission,” said Buck. Operation United Assistance is a Department of Defense operation in Liberia to provide logistics, training and engineering support to U.S. Agency for International Development-led efforts to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in western Africa.
