In support of U.S. Southern Command’s (USSOUTHCOM) mission, Southern Partnership Station-Joint High Speed Vessel (SPS-JHSV) 2014 requirements, Joint Communications Support Element (JCSE) personnel, U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Sgt. Julius Fairfax (pictured left) and U.S. Air Force Staff Sgt. Mario Valenzuela (right), set up a portable radio antenna to enhance communication capabilities during the deployment. Additionally, these highly trained joint communicators provided uninterrupted connectivity to U.S. customers and partner nations in the Caribbean, Central and South America while deployed from May to October 2014.
