U.S. Air Force Airmen and Iraqi military members attended the 78th annual Iraqi Air Day at New al-Muthana Air Base, Iraq April 22. With a multitude of people in attendance, Iraqi officials, to include the Iraqi minister of defense and the Iraqi air force chief of staff, spoke to the crowd on how far the Iraqi air force has come in the past few years. There were also static displays of the Iraqi aircraft on display for people to look at before and after the official ceremony.
