On March 3, father and son, Pfc. Steffen Johnson, wheeled vehicle mechanic, a native of Carthage, N.Y., and Staff Sgt. John Johnson, a Moses Lake, Wash., native and forward observer, stop mid-conversation to pose in front of the 317th Maintenance Company, 553rd Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 10th Sustainment Brigade checkpoint. These two finally reunited nearly eight months into Pfc. Johnson's deployment. Both Pfc. and Staff Sgt. Johnson express their happiness, as they are able to serve their country together.
