Marines with Company L, 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, set up a defensive position after assaulting through their objective during the Aerial Assault Course aboard Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms, Calif., Nov. 1-2, 2014. The purpose of the AAC is to incorporate air and artillery assets with infantry units in order to accurately and effectively accomplish assigned missions.
