    U.S. Army Europe and Africa     

    U.S. Army Bradley and Stryker Fighting Vehicles, driven by Soldiers of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, and 2nd Cavalry Regiment, participate in multinational exercise Iron Sword 2014 in Pabrade, Lithuania, Nov. 11, 2014. More than 2,500 military personnel from nine NATO member countries, including the U.S., participated in the exercise, originally planned by the Lithuanian Land Forces and expanded to include other countries. Iron Sword 2014 is part of the larger, multinational combined-arms exercise Atlantic Resolve, led by U.S. Army Europe and taking place across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland, intended to enhance multinational interoperability, strengthen relationships among allied militaries, contribute to regional stability and demonstrate U.S. commitment to NATO.
