A recon team comprised of representatives from Joint Forces Command – United Assistance, the United Nation Military, and River Gee city officials survey a construction site for an Ebola Treatment Unit site Nov. 10, 2014, in River Gee, Liberia. Ebola Treatment Units are being built to provide a resource for families and communities from the spread of Ebola, isolating those with the Ebola virus in a medical facility. United Assistance is a Department of Defense operation in Liberia to provide logistics, training and engineering support to U.S. Agency for International Development-led efforts to contain the Ebola virus outbreak in western Africa.
