New York Air National Guard Senior Airman Christopher Muncy, 106th Rescue Wing photojournalist, photographs a F-15E Strike Eagle from the 122nd Fighter Squadron, Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base New Orleans, La., being refueled by a KC-135 Stratotanker from the Pennsylvania Air National Guard, 171st Air Refueling Wing, while participating in Exercise Southern Strike 15 (SS15), Nov. 4, 2014. SS15 is a total force, multiservice training exercise hosted by the Mississippi National Guard's Combat Readiness Training Center in Gulfport, Miss, from Oct. 27 through Nov. 7, 2014. The SS15 exercise emphasizes air-to-air, air-to-ground, and special operations forces training opportunities.
