Members of the U.S. Marine Corps, Mexican Naval Infantry Force and French Foreign Legion prepare to depart amphibious assault ship USS Kearsarge (LHD 3) via helicopter during the multi-national exercise Bold Alligator 2014 (BA14). Improving Navy-Marine Corps amphibious core competencies along with coalition, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), Allied and partner nations is a necessary investment in the current and future readiness of our forces.
