Louis Rivera, a horizontal construction engineer with 2nd Squad, 2nd Platoon, 523rd Engineer Company, 84th Engineer Battalion, 130th Engineer Brigade, 8th Theater Sustainment Command, conducts a 10-kilometer ruck march with his squad as part of the Warrior Tasks and Battle Drills event during the battalion's Best Squad Competition Oct. 29 at Schofield Barracks' East Range here. The competition was geared toward leader development and unit readiness within the squads while also strengthening cohesiveness amongst the Soldiers in each team through various exercises, drills and physical training.
