U.S. Air Force Reserve Master Sgt. Matt Jackson, 433rd Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron flight medic, based at Joint Base San Antonio, Texas, conducts en route casualty care training on board a Kentucky Air National Guard C-130H2 Hercules assigned to the 165th Airlift Squadron, based at Louisville, Ky., during Exercise Southern Strike 15 (SS15) near the Combat Readiness Training Center (CRTC) in Gulfport, Miss., Nov. 3, 2014. SS15 is a total force, multiservice training exercise hosted by the Mississippi National Guard's CRTC Oct. 27 through Nov. 7, 2014. The SS15 exercise emphasizes air-to-air, air-to-ground and special operations forces training opportunities.
