Japan Air Self-Defense Force service members experience an MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft simulator Oct. 30 at Marine Corps Air Station Futenma. “Most of us have never even seen an Osprey in person before,” said JASDF Senior Master Sgt. Kagsuhiko Shintaku, a student at the JASDF Air Officer Candidate School. “The flight simulator was a very good opportunity for all of us to get more exposure to the Osprey. It was a fantastic piece of technology.” The JASDF service members are students at the academy. The flight simulator belongs to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265, Marine Aircraft Group 36, 1st Marine Aircraft Wing, III Marine Expeditionary Force. (U.S. Marine Corps photo by Pfc. Cedric R.
