Jodi Johnson, a stay-at-home mom here at JBAB, baked a row of scrumptious pumpkin pinwheels, a family recipe filled with swirls of cream cheese, and a pumpkin cheesecake, for the Warfighter & Family Readiness holiday baking contest, held Nov. 3 at the Bolling Club. Joined by daughter, McKenzie, who tagged along for moral support, Johnson's participation in the contest was an attempt to show her daughter the importance of trying new things and stepping out of her comfort zone.
