Sgt. Maj. Enrique X. Hines of the Bronx, NY, demonstrates proper grappling techniques to Marines during martial-arts training aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer. Twenty-seven Marines participated in the Marine Corps Martial-Arts Instructors Course which graduated, April 8. Students were taught how to correctly give hip-pocket classes, instruct other Marines in the Marine Corps Martial-Arts Program, and endured numerous hours of physical training throughout the 15 day-long course. The 13th MEU and Boxer Amphibious Ready Group are currently on a deployment in support of regional and Maritime Security Operations.
