Maj. Shane Rauh (center) of the 225th Engineer Brigade, who hails from Baton Rouge, La., stands in front of the more than 40-foot tall oil storage container located at Al Daura Oil Refinery in southeastern Baghdad, March 30. Protecting the refinery's operations is a vital step in stabilizing the increasing production of oil in Iraq. Therefore, at the request of Lt. Gen. Abboud, senior Iraqi commander for Baghdad, a security assessment has been started by the force protection section of 1st Cavalry Division and the 225th Eng. Bde. to strengthen defenses for one of Iraq's largest oil refineries.
